In our quest to represent Soul music across all of its many forms, we’re putting together a collection of some of the best Soul DJs & collectors that we know & have asked them to compile their current Top 20 favourite tunes. The great thing about this section is that you can actually listen to these playlists from start to finish by clicking on the first & letting them run. Alternatively play a single tune if you prefer. If you wish to pause a track, simply click on it while it’s playing & click again to resume.

As time goes by we’ll be adding to this list, so be sure to keep checking back, or better still, subscribe to our RSS feed & you’ll be informed the second a new DJ is added – Oh, and don’t forget to let us know about your favourite sets as may help us to know who to invite to guest @our next do. Most importantly, enjoy yourselves!

This Set is rather special to me, personally. Here is my dear friend & ex-NyLon partner, Jaymz Nylon. The highly acclaimed recording artist, producer & record label owner from Brooklyn, NY. Jaymz & I go way back to the days when we pioneered ‘true’ House parties in New York. Crosby Street was the nucleus. We had no idea that the party, held in a friends apartment had overflowed & occupied most of the street below. What did Jaymz do? He turned the speakers & pointed them out, toward the street for everyone below to enjoy! And that for me is my friend Jaymz; always looking to entertain & share the good times with his friends. So here’s his favourite Soul tunes to share with you, our friends. Enjoy!

Jay is one of the elite, pioneering DJ/remixers from New York who truly mastered the art of compiling emotional & uplifting sets. Enjoy!

After having produced & played @some of the best House music clubs in New York througout the 90′s, Steve returned to England & to his Northern Soul roots. Nowadays, Steve enjoys mixing all genres of Soul within a set. He does admit to being frustrated with how little time DJs over here seem to get in comparison to their counterparts back in the States – 6hr sets being the norm to him!
